nowjakenow: do you believe that poetry is not only the language of the heart but also of our soul? mainly of our humanity?
In a sense. I don’t know that I’d go that far, though. I think it’s different for each individual. For me, writing in general helps me to express what I’m feeling better than anything else - poetry is just usually what it comes out in. So personally, yeah. But I think as far as our humanity, that’s really dependent on the person and how they deal with things.
My hobbies include laying in bed in my underwear while I listen to music and hate myself
